LvL 1-70 guide

This guide is not for noobs. If your familiar with your class, and faction; you will have no trouble understanding this guide its quick to read.It takes skill to find a good grinding spot, sure ANYONE can find one, but finding the right one; with less agro than some places, a healthy amount of mobs, and a place that you will not get ganked (hopefully); that’s what made this guide take 1 1/2 months for me to make, because I had to find the right locations and test it constantly. By all means if you do not want to level fast and enjoy the game do so (you cannot pvp, level a profession, nor do anything, but leveling), this guide was meant for people that play EVERYDAY, not just one day here and one day there. Yes, grinding is tedious, but its the most efficient way to do it, and farming/leveling company's use that method, I'm not defending that there's a lack of detail; I did it that way on purpose so it makes it easier to follow, and not clouded by useless info, by where and why to go; who needs that when you've leveled a character to 60 or 70? You know it well enough to find these locations; to set this short, I made this guides "lack of info" on purpose for well-informed player to follow easily, if you want a guide that get you to 60 or 70, but in much much more time (doing professions, extra quests, and such along that line), go with Knopp/James guide for Alliance. -For speed leveling - you should not be afraid to fight when you are in low hp/mana. I kept pulling on my Shaman until I was down to about 10% hp and 10% Mana. That cuts down on med time. -The key is to grind on mobs that are 1 or 2 levels above you and complete quests while you are doing this -You're going spend tons on food/water/bandages 3. for casters, buy good wands every few levels. Get cookie's stirring rod from VC and buy the rest as you go. Maybe a new wand every 5-7 levels. That way you can cut down on med time by wending the mob when it is at 10% health so you can naturally start to regent mana -for melee - bandage, bandage, bandage and buy good weapons every few levels - if you can afford it, pimp yourself out (caster get +dmg gear, melee get +attack power gear) the harder you hit, the faster things die, the faster you get xp. Even that means you spend more time sitting down eating/drinking (that only takes 15 seconds max) 4. Don't waste time doing PvP or leveling a profession, it just wastes time. - please note that you MUST PLAY WOW everyday in order for this to do it, not one day here, one day there. -If you are going to be out more than 1/2 a day from WoW, make sure you put your Avatar (Character) at an inn or a capital city to get rest XP.

Human/Gnome/Dwarf -Nooby zone (1 - 6.5) - yes, get to 6.5 ... that means killing just a handful of extra mobs. If you are just grinding and doing quests this should take you 1hr** now go to IF or SW and pick up skinning (this will help offset the costsof buying your gear and buying food/water) Highly recommend that you spend 20g and get yourself 4 runecloth bags. In order to power level yourself you can't be going back to town to sell things every hourOutside IF/SW (6.5-11) - pick one (don't go between SW and IF cuz that takes way too long) you're going to need to grind a bit but this will take you 3-4 hrs of played time (again, no chatting is involved here ... typing just slows down your DPS and slows down your leveling) ^_^Loch Modan (11-13) - the first few quests here are easy to do. Kill spiders, bears, boars. Kill little kobolds. Kill trolls. You can skin and get cloth to make bandages. 2 hrs playedWestfall (13-16) - Complete all the level 12 quests and then grind on the Harvest Golem/Watchers near the north part of Westfall. There should be 3farms that have level 11-13 mobs. Then grind on the higher level ones on the West until you hit 16. While you're running around the farms, grindingon these mobs - complete the other westfall quests. 4 hrs played*be sure to do the defias brother hood quests*don't forget to pick up the quest "dry times" and start buying the alcohol form the different placesLoch Modan (16-18 ) - come back here and do a few more quests. You should be able to complete them quickly since you are such high level. Don't forget the quests in the digging site to the east and the other buildingall the way in the southeast corner (i forget the name of it) 4 hrs playedRedridge (18-20) – quest, quest, quest and grind on Murlocks or the Kobolds (forget what they are called but they are all over the mountains tothe north) 4 hrs played**DING ** have someone run you through the Deadmines 2-4 times (untilyou get some nice gear) 2 hrs playedYou should now be at 1 day /playedRedridge (21-23) - quest and grind on Orcs on the north east part of RR 4 hrs playedWETLANDS (23-25) - quest/grind on murlocks, crocs, the undead pirates, the invisible dudes that walk in the river, the gnolls, etc (do not do the Orcquests yet) 4 hrs playedDarkshire (25-28 ) – quest, quest, quest - the wolf guys, the comb quest, the Undeads in the cemetery, etc, etc 5 hrs played**find a kind soul to take you to the stockades (do all the quests there in one run, not worth it to get gear)Wetlands (28.5-30) - do the orc quests, raptor quests and then grind it outon either one (Orcs if you need bandages, raptors if you want skins) 5 hrsplayed*if you can, find someone to help you with the last few Darkshire quest (morbent fel, etc)Hillsbrad Foothills (30-31.5) - these quest are probably green to you (if they are grey and not part of a chain, skip them). You should be able to kill Nagas and Murlocks on the south and get good xp. You can also do thedefias quests really quick. 2 hrs playedAlterac Mountains (31.5-33) - grind in the cave to the north (on the way toAV) and then yetis ... just grind 6 hrs played**DING you should be at 2 days /played** (maybe a little more if you have been chatting it upArathi Highlands (33-35) - some quick quests here - you can grind on Orcsor trolls**at this time, have someone take you to SM and do some quests there. Ifthey can, run you through until you get some nice gear (class dependentobviously) and you should be able to get a level or two from there. Ideally, they would run you through the whole thing 4 hrs played - obviously you may not find someone to dedicate 4 hrs for you, so go to STV and start your quests there too ...STV (34-40) - let me break this one down for you**the key here is to pick up as many quests as you can, and complete them all before turning them in. STV is FULL of chain quests. Kurzen campquests, Mastery quests, Troll tribes, etc**(34-35) your first set of quests should get you a full level. Grind as much as you can in the kurzen camp since its usually safe from ganking(35-37) troll tribes (getting the tablets) and 2nd series of masteries and the geologist co quests.**@ 37 go to STV and pick up quests there(37-40) singing blue shards, apes, raptors, tigers, panthers and troll tooths? or whatever it is you need to collect from trolls. 20 hrs played**if at any point you get tired of STV, go back to Arathi or if you really hate grinding, go to Desolace or even Badlands**or if you find someone nice, they'll take you to gnomeragan ****DING - go buy your mount** /played 3 days***I'll stop posting how much time it should take you so no one will get depressed and hurt themselves but it slows down a lot from this point on, now you really need to start buying that +dmg +ap gear***(from this point on 40-50 should be about 4 hrs per level on average and 50-60 should be about 5-6 hrs per level)(plus the levels specified from this point on are more strict, for example - Iwouldn't recommend going to sorrow hill before you are 50 cuz its not efficient - same thing for Un'Goro before level 52)Alterac Mountains (40-42) - Ogres (non elite) + humanoids (quest/grind)Tanaris (42-45) - wasteland wanderers (grind, grind, grind) - get water pouches and just grind. Trust me on this, you need to start grinding someor you'll run out of quests and get stuckin between zones)STV (45-46.5) - finish the quests here (pirates, Zanzil secret/Nagas, apes, etc)Tanaris (46.5-48 ) - Ogres (again grind, grind, grind) - you can pick up quests in Tanaris and complete them if you want, but its faster to just grindright nowSearing Gorge (48-50) - quests are fast and grinding is easy. Don't bothergetting the searing gorge key ... you'll never run through that door ...Western Plaguelands (50-51) - sorrow hill - Chillwind point.**I know this place is super camped so if you can't find pulls there, go back to Searing Gorge or Feralas (there is a repeatable quest there on theshore (right after you take the boat the little goblin there gives it)) or even Azshara (but watch out for the farmers there!)Felwood (51-52) - some quests, some grinding. Don't bother doing the quests in the north by the cave that leads to Winterspring. Just do whatever is green/yellow so that would be the first Furlbog quests + Jadenar + whatever other quests you pick up from the south part of FelwoodUn'Goro (52-54) - Bring your Mithril casing! (2 escort quests + lots of killquests + some travel back and forth between here and Tanaris)**its important that you grind whatever part of your level is leftWPL (54-55) - finish quests here (cauldrons + scarlet + whatever else youcan find) and then grindAzshara - Felwood (55-56) - GRIND! or do whatever quests you still haven't done here (you could grind on Ogres in Burning Steppes too)Winterspring (56-57) - quests + grinding (you might want to go to Darnassus first, in the Therussian village you can pick up a quest for Azshara and another for Winterspring)EPL (57-58) - lots of good quests here, just that you run into the occasional horde party going to Strath.* Outlands*Hellfire Peninsula (58-60) 1.5 Hours = 1 LEVEL! Quest, Grind; this equals uber XP.**again, this guide shows a lot of grinding but its helpful if you stay in onezone until you level.**Hellfire Peninsula (60-62)Do ALL the quests you see, most quests gives you 10k xp or more, also do instances for gear and stuff.Zangarmarsh (62-65)Do all the quests that there are to do, its the best way to level, groups quests can be a pain so make sure you have buddies that can help you out. on occasion do instances for quests, xp, and loot.Terrokar Forest (65-67)Quest, quest, quest; get a buddy to help you out with group quests. Once again do instances for quests, xp, and loot.Nagrand (67-68 )I'm tired of putting Quest, quest, quest, but Quest, Quest, Quest! Also once again Instances, Instances, Instances!Blade Edge Mountain (68-70)Quest, you should be 70 by the time you finish here.Netherstorm (70) * Quest for gold, gold is quadrupled at 70 *Again QuestShadowmoon Valley (70) * Quest for gold, gold is quadrupled at 70 *Again Quest

WoW Leveling Guide: Priest

1-20:

Starting Zone: Barrens (h8 at Silverpine). If you are Alliance, I guess go to Westfall firstly. Never been to Darkshore because it was too bad for leveling. I leveled my Priest on the Honor Contest 1.10 PTR and Westfall was a best zone. Lots of good quests. You should not ever need to grind before 20. If you are out of quests, do WC or VC. Never done VC as Horde, but there is decent cloth loot there I think.

20-40:

Primarily instance a lot. As a good healer, you will have no problem being as low as 1-2 levels down the minimum for an instance. Just know how to heal. Do not get a 60 to run you through. It is good healing practice. Healing instances is a great break from DPSing mobs for an hour, and I do not care what you say, Healing is so much easy than topping the DPS meters. Keep grinding to a minimum. Grind Quests are your friend. You ca not instances ALL the time, though, so try different zones such as: Southern Barrens - Bael Modan (get the quest along the primary road) and Quillboars north of RFK Hillsbrad Foothills - The ganking is not that bad and the quests here are awesome. Grind Mudpaw Gnolls in southeast after you are out of quests. 1,000 Needles - Good questing here. They remove the Mark of Shame, so feel free to do that chain if u have all the Flight Paths for it. Shimmering Flats - Finished the quests, grind the bugs afterwards. Arathi Highlands - Fun PvP zones very few gankers outside your level range. Quest. Stranglethorn Vale - Some people hated it, I enjoy the questing here. Tons of quests. Badlands - Rock Elementals. Not many quest.

40-50:

Badlands - Finished off the low 40s with the Rock Elementals in Badlands, move onto Tanaris. Tanaris - Lost Rigger Cove has lots of quests and GREAT grinding. No 60s ever come here, but both mid-40 factions do. Tanaris - Thistleshrub Valley, I like grinding these things. The level 49s died so easily. Easy pulls constant pace, awesome herb loot (occasional BoE epic), very great area. Keep doing instances. Uldaman very bad, though, I did not bother ever clearing that more than once or twice. I ran ZF a lot, and Maraudon as I got a higher leveled.

50-60:

This is where it wills gets "Eh." Not many good instances for experiences (great loot though, in the high 50s you should be running DM daily), and constant mind-numbing grinding is the only one way to get through it. The key to grinding at 50 is to make money while you do it vastly. The more money you make in the 50s, the less you will need to farm as a raider. Avoid WPL on a PvP server. Too many of a PvP zone for 60s. I tried grinding in Felstone Field, but a pathetic Human Warrior named Bigbomb camps there at all day every day with nothing better to do. Yeah, I felt like calling them out publicly for everyone on Bleeding Hollow, in case this ever gets stickled. Move onto Un'Goro Crater. First clear out all the quests their (fun stuff), then grind a few levels in Fire Plume Ridge. There will be china farmers here, but they should not give you much trouble (especially Alliance). Most bad thing at playing their class anyway. This place has the highest Essence of Fire (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=10062) drop rate at the game, other than MC. Next up: Felwood. I skipped all the quests, you may want to do 'em. Farm Jadefire Run for a few levels. Easy experience and the loot are awesome. Tons of Runecloth, Felcloth, and Demonic Runes. Start with the ones in the south until you are higher, then move up to the North. In the upper 50s, you have got a few options. Next up should probably be Silithus. The quests here are easy and they are not in highly PvP-centered parts. Grind the Rock Elementals up north, they have very good Essence of Earth (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=7534) drop rate. Eastern Plaguelands! With the additional of Naxx in the next patch, I do not know how packed this place will become with 60s, but right now it is just too big, high level, and out of the way to be a great PvP zone like BRM and WPL. There are too many quests here. Group up with a friend and get em done, you will get a lot of experiences. Finally, if you are lucky, you can finish off your last 2 levels in a several hours. How? Burning Steppes. I had a T2 Mage tap level me on all the Elite Dragonkin right here. I would get average 600 experiences per kill and it would not take any longer than normal. Tap leveling is when you damage a mob (Pets do not count, FYI) then have someone out of your party help you kill it, granting you almost a full experience. Power leveling is great here. Good luck.

World of Warcraft Cheats Explained

Cheats in World of Warcraft is a broad category of activities, all of which are generally regarded as modifying the game experience in a way that gives a player an unfair advantage over the other players. Different activities constitute cheats, as it is often a matter of consensus opinion.

Cheats exists in not just World of Warcraft but in all multiplayer online computer games. While there have always been cheat codes and other ways to make single player games easier, most developers attempt to prevent it in multiplayer games. With the release of the first popular Internet multiplayer games cheating took on new dimensions. Previously it was rather easy to see if the other players cheated, as most games were played on local networks or consoles. The Internet changed that by increasing the popularity of multiplayer games, giving the players anonymity, and giving people an avenue to communicate World of Warcraft cheats.

Types of World of Warcraft Cheats

User Settings - Typically a player can change settings within a game to make it suit their play style and system. These alterations are not generally not cheats, except in extreme circumstances. Changing the keyboard layout to make it easier to use is for example usually accepted. But issues such as changing in-game player models and textures, or modifying the brightness or gamma in order to make it easier to see in dark areas are sometimes borderline cheats in World of Warcraft. These are sometimes referred to as a mod or mods. Read more about World of Warcraft mods

Exploits - Usually included in this concept of cheats is the use of existing bugs or gameplay aspects unintended by the World of Warcraft developers known as exploits. Gamers are divided as to whether all exploitation is a cheat, though most consider exploits as cheats if they are particularly unfair. It is also difficult to classify some activities as exploits, because sometimes unintended features in the World of Warcraft game can make them much more fun to play. However, most exploits are unbalancing to World of Warcraft, and are called cheats because they are based on mistakes by Blizzard. For example, Duping ruins a synthetic economy and is rarely intended, and therefore is usually called a cheat.

External Software - The most unbalancing cheats in World of Warcraft usually come from external software. Either the program that runs the game is modified to allow the player to cheat, or other software is run which produces the same results. Wallhacks, aimbots, and other cheats fall into this category.

Preventing World of Warcraft Cheats

It is not be financially wise for World of Warcraft developers Blizzard to fight "cheaters" using cheats. These players using cheats bring in revenue just like normal players in the game. Gamers have speculated that this is the reason why "two boxing" is not a bannable offense in World of Warcraft. Players are often less concerned about these circumstances because it might be debatable if the actions in question are a form of a cheat. That said Blizzard has banned an untold number of players in World of Warcraft that it considered were using cheats and breaking the Terms of Service for World of Warcraft.

Best Place To Get World of Warcraft Cheats

TaultUnleashed - They offer the largest selection on the Internet.

Talents for wow Speed-Leveling .

Talents for Leveling

This should give you an idea of how you should choose your talents for best leveling purposes.
Talents, lvl 10-40(shadow tree). There's a great JavaScript talent calculator here:

http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?rZZxMLt0xRt

Now you have 'Spirit Tap' the best skill for leveling/grinding, with this you could kill mobs that are around your level range without even having downtime. (That means no mana drinking, if you use this talent right you could grind mobs for hours not drinking mana)
Note: When engaging an enemy always have the sheild up before you start attacking ( recast the sheild as soon as you ge the spiritbuff if possible)
And remember the wand is your friend, saves mana and does very nice damage, you should always check the action house for a better wand than your current, every few levels.
And now when you've reached 40, and have spent 31 points into the Shadow tree, its time to get some nice talents from the Discipline tree.

Talents, lvl 40-60(Discipline tree)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?rVMGshZZxMxt0xRt
(Notice that We've put the last point into Shadow Focus in the Shadow tree)

This specc is purely for Leveling, after you hit 60 we've got some other speccs for you.

PvP spec(the facemelter)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?rxMGoZZEMMtctRt
This is mainly for pvp but if you get some nice gear you could be doing damage instead of healing in Instances.

PvE spec(the healer)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?dxgus00oZfxLcc0qL
This is the healer build, it can look like many things 31/20/0, 18/33/0 etc, mess around with it see what fits you.

WoW Horde leveling

Implemented from a variety of posts by Horde players that have contributed. Some of these spots were also in use from Ratama of Nurfed.

14-16: Pirates south of Ratchet (Barrens)
16-19: Various wildlife, especially cats, in Barrens. Note that if you're by means of a dagger crit build, after that exp for this is insane.
19-22: Bramblescar (Barrens) on lizards and quillboars. Unless you're responsibility leatherworking, just leave the lizards by yourself.
22-24: Tarren Mill (Hillsbrad) on bears and spiders. Dagger crit chain heaven.
24-26: crossways the road from Tarren Mill on top of tougher bears and cats. Dagger crit chain heaven.
26-28: Spiders/Bears in reverse of Syndicate tower (Hillsbrad)
28-30: Cats and Spiders approximately Nethander Stead (Hillsbrad)
30-32: Harpies in cave (Thousand Needles)

NE of Brackenwall (2 min run there)- Raptor den
36-37 raptors there – lots and many of them in there

40-42 Skeletons in Desolace. They're about the only squishies I might find to grind on. It's part of an Alliance quest, so the customary PvP warnings apply.

42-45 Jungle Stalkers in SV. The loot drop isn't near as good as the Lashtails, but they're as soggy as ever. Also, they don't seem to have the cheap attack that the lashtails do. Virtually no one kills these guys on my server, and they're simply chainable.

All Basic Leveling Guide

Index:

  1. Level 1-12
  2. Level 12-20
  3. Level 20-22

Most of these have been long-established to be good, but in order to prevent overcrowding in areas I will try to list more than a few different places, all of which should be pretty decent. More often than not, the area will only hold one or two people maximum as far as spawn rates go - any additional than that and you have too many people and too little mobs to hold up them. Unfortunately, because of this, you might end up somewhere that isn't fairly as good as you might've hoped, and if that's the case, I apologize in advance.

The levels are approximate; you may or may not have to supplement grinding for one or two levels in order to move onto the next zone early on, although most of the later parts deal regularly with areas to grind in. Also, when a level is listed next to a grind area, that means this is the level at which you can additional than likely *start* grinding the mobs. You can probably *stop* grinding them about 4-5 levels history where the start level is. In fact, it's probably suggested that you do stop 4 levels past them.

Also, keep in mind that this is typically for Alliance players, as it's the only faction I've played and therefore have no experience with Horde lands. You'll also note the lack of Kalimdor lands up until Feralas/Tanaris. While I'm not proverb Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains, Thousand Needles or Desolace are bad places, I truthfully have no experience with them either, and these areas that I do list are typically enough to take you up in levels.

Please note that the level listed next to a place, if there is one, is the level recommended to *begin* the place. Each place should characteristically be able to last you for 4-5 levels (with the exception of quest areas), whether you have the endurance to stay at that one place for that long is one more thing.

Thanks to everyone that has contribute and added to the list!

Level 1-12:

- Newbie Zone: You might have to leave at level 11.

Level 12-20:

- Westfall [Sentinel Hill, Westfall Lighthouse]
- Loch Modan [Thelsamar, Farstrider's Lodge, Stonewrought Dam]
- Darkshore [Auberdine]
- Elite Area: Mo'grosh mound (Loch Modan)
- Instance: Deadmines

full the easiest quests in the first area that you go to (Night Elves should visit Darkshore first, Dwarves/Gnomes should visit Loch Modan first, Humans be supposed to visit Westfall first.) Move onto the after that zone, and do the same, but this time you can complete more of the zone. Leave the most hard, unless you can get a group for them - don't waste too much time on it, although. Move onto the last zone and complete all, or nearly all of the quests obtainable in that zone. By this time, you should be about level 17-18. Go back to the first zone, and full the rest of the quests there.

Typically, my "first zone" is Westfall, in which case you can go reverse when you are done with both Loch Modan and Darkshore, and ending the Van Cleef line of quests and be at a good level to run the occurrence.

Level 20-22:

- Redridge Mountains [Lakeshire, Tower of Azora in Elwynn]

again, do the easy quests in Redridge, which be supposed to take you up to level 21 or 22. Skip the more difficult quests except you have a group for them. I'd skip the entire Stonewatch Keep area of quests just simply because that whole area itself is crap.

WoW Alliance Leveling Guide 60-70

"The Fastest Path to 70!"
Not everyone is out to explore or sit back and casually level. Some need that rush of speeding through the levels so they can join their friends in the endgame. That's exactly what this guide is designed to do, get you to level 70 as fast as possible.
This continues from our rough 1-60 leveling guide and takes a differnt approach. We take you through quest by quest so that you know exactly what quests to do and in what order. We draw from various resources, mostly our own experience, to bring you this very valuable information for getting to level 70 as fast as possible.
So here you go! Happy adventures! As a reminder this guide is currently being created and as such will be updated frequently. Check back often to see more!
Level Sixty to Sixty One
To start off, save yourself a little bit of time and pick up the Nethergarde Bitter from Nethergarde keep on your way to Outland. Why? Well a quest requires it and it's really annoying to walk all the way back to Nethergarde to pick it up.
Start off by picking up the quest "Through the Dark Portal" at the entrance of the Dark Portal just outside of it. Go to Commander Duron who is on the otherside of the portal and turn it in and accept "Arrivial in Outland". Take the Griffon to Honor Hold while accepting "Journey to Honor Hold"..
Once at Honor Hold turn in "Journey to Honor Hold" and pick up "Force Commander Danath". Head to the castle and turn in "Force Commander Danath" and pick up "The Legion Reborn" and "Know Your Enemy"
Head out of Honor Hold towards about 51,60ish where there is a tower. Turn in "Know your Enemy" and pick up "Fel Orc Scavengers" along with "Waste not, Want not". Then head to 61,59 and turn in "The Legion Reborn" and pick up "The Path of Anguish".
At about 60,50 there is a large group of Bonechewer Orcs along with tons of broken machine parts. Pick up the machine parts while killing orcs at the same time to get two of these quests done at once.
Next up demons need to be slayed. Head to 68,55 or 65,45 and kill a Dreadcaller, 6 Infernal Warbringers, and 4 Flamewalker Imps. This is for "The Path of Anguish" and can be kind of hard since you may get a good deal of enemies on you at one time from spawns and pathing. Afterwards head back to 61,59 and turn "The Path of Anguish" while picking up "Expedition Point". Then head for 71,61.
At the "Expedition Point" (it's the broken Felreaver with the all the Alliance on it) turn in "Expedition Point"while picking up "Disrupt Their Reinforcements". Go north east and kill demons at 71,56 for 8 Demonic Rune Stones. Afterwards use the dynamite you were given on the portals at 72,58 and 71,55.
Head back to 71,61 and turn in "Disrupt Their Reinforcements". Then accept "Mission: The Murketh and Shaadraz Gateways". This is the bombing run, so be ready for some fun! Talk with Wing Commander Dabir'ee who will put you on an armored gryphon. When you're flying, you'll fly over a portal. Click on the bomb when you get over it and the circle will turn green. Take out both portals and return and turn in "Mission: The Murketh and Shaadraz Gateways". Then accept "Shatter Point" and get on the gryphon again. This time you'll fly to a floating Island near the Dark Portal.
At Shatter Point accept "Wing Commander Gryphongar" and "Mission: The Abyssal Shelf" and "Got o the Front" (the later two are obtained at a tower). Pick up "Return to the Abyssal Shelf" from Gryphoneer Windbellow and fly out to Force Camp Front.
At Force Camp Front turn in "Go to the Front" and pick up "Forge Base Mageddon" only if you have a group to help you with it. Return to Shatter Point and then fly from the real Gryphon Master to Honor Hold.
Accept "The Longbeards" and "An Old Gift" from the inn and "The Path of Glory" along with "Weaken the Ramparts" from the castle. "Weaken the Ramparts" is an instance quest, so only get it if you plan to run some of Hellfire Citadel. At an exterior tower you can turn in "Waste Not, Want Not" and pick up "Laying Waste to to the Unwanted" along with being able to turn in "Fel Orc Scavanegers" and picking up "Ill Omens" along with "Unyielding Souls". That's a ton of quests!
Head to the Gan'arg cave which is nearby the tower (you can't miss it) where you'll find "This Caves-a-Rocking" and "A Job for an Intelligent man. Kill Sappers until the quest is done then return to pick up "The Mastermind" which involves killing Z'kral. You can probably solo him or just grab a help of a friend.
Outside of the cave is time for one of the most annoying starter quests ever... "A Job for an Intelligent Man". All outside the cave and across the gash are these things of rolling dirt which you need to kill. This may take awhile... don't bother with hellboars if you've picked up a hellboar quest yet, those are to be done later.
Head on out to the Zeppelin Crash at 49,75 and accept "Incase of Emergency..." and "Ravager Egg Roundup". For the first you'll find the debris all over the place near the Zepplin. Go ahead and get the parts now. For the second, we'll do it later.
Head down to the Armory which is near 53,83 and kill the various ghosts for "Unyielding Souls". There is a busted house to the south of the armory which is near the edge of the world for "An Old Gift". Be careful here, some of the ghosts are VERY annoying like the knights who will charge you. This is worse on a PvP server.
Zeth'gor time, head out to 69,75 and kill the various orcs there for one single cursed talisman. I got mine on the first try, results may vary. Return to the expedition and pick up "Cursed Talismans". Personally I did this now on my Paladin but you can hold off till later if there isn't enough people clearing the camp out where you can easily get to the various spawns.
Head northward to the Path of Glory (the long road between the citadel and the Dark Portal). Here you want to blow up the catapults near the entrance to the portal and pick up 8 skulls. Both quests are easy if you can distract the orcs to blow up the catapults and if no one is ganking you on the road.
Now turn in all of the quests near HH (Honor Hold) and pick up "The Temple of Telhamat" and "Looking to the Leadership". Be sure to turn in the quest at the entrance to the mine.
Now head off to the Temple of Telhamat which is at north west part of the zone around 22,40.
Tune in soon for more! We're updating it as we go along looking for the best way to get you to 70. Expect updates every few days!

WoW Horde Leveling Guide 60-70

"The Fastest Path to 70!"
Finding quests got you down? The rest of your friends or guild already 70? Want to get to level 70 as fast as possible? Join the crowd! Getting to level 70 fast is the goal of most WoW players. It's true, there are those out there that want to experience the joy of exploring and finding out things on your own. But hey, they are the minority! Most of us are the impatient types that want to get the end game to get the best loot possible, or join that raid to see what few players see, or get to the peak of the PvP ladder.
Without further delay, I present our leveling guide from level 60 to 70. This guide is meant to show you the fastest way to level from 60 to level 70. This is from our experience and research and has proved to be very fast, however there is always room for improvement. So if you see spots for tweaks, please send them in!
Throughout the guide you will find several comments and notes set appart in colored frames. They represent the following:

Blue frames represent instance opportunities. They highlight the instances that are appropriate and available for your level. They mention some of the instance details and link to guides for the instance.
While instances are completely optional and many players feel they slow down your leveling, I strongly suggest them for several reasons. The first being that WoW is an MMO and you should group occasionally. Secondly they provide a break from the straight questing and grinding od the rest of the game. Lastly they provide some of the best gear in the game at your current progression level, which will speed up your questing and leveling once you have finished the instance.
Yellow frames represent grinding opportunities, either for experience or reputation.
There are several areas in the game where it can be more efficient to grind out that next level than to complete quests. While I try to point out quest opportunities at every stage of the game, sometime even with quests you just will not get enough experience for that next level. It may be that you just can't finish some because they are over farmed, or the quest that takes 200 kills for everyone else to get 10 drops took you 10 kills. Either way, you may need to grind occasionally.
The easiest way to follow this guide is to alt-tab to it from WoW after completing a batch of quests. You can also print it out and follow it that way, but ink these days is just too expensive.
Level Sixty to Sixty One

Hellfire Peninsula
Click the image to open a seperate window to our quest database, where you can find additional information on each quest, larger maps and more.
Start off by picking up the quest "Through the Dark Portal" at the entrance of the Dark Portal just outside of it. Go to through the portal to turn it in and accept "Arrival in Outland" and then "Journey to Thrallmar" and take the flight to Thrallmar.
Once there turn in "Journey to Thrallmar " and pick up "Report to Nazgrel ". Turn that in and accept "Eradicate the Burning Legion", also make Thrallmar your home (IE: set your hearth stone to here at the inn). Also pick up "Bonechewer Blood" and "I Work for the Horde".
Turn in "Eradicate the Burning Legion" just outside of Thrallmar at 58,41 and get "Felspark Ravine".
There is a large group of Bonechewer Orcs along with tons of broken machine parts just south of Thrallmar. Pick up the machine parts while killing orcs at the same time to get both "Bonechewer Blood" and "I Work for the Horde" done at once.
Next up head to Felspark Ravine just east of Thrallmar to complete that quest then turn in all quests and gain "Forward Base: Reaver's Fall" and "Apothecary Zelana"
Head to Reaver's Fall around 65,43 to turn in "Forward Base: Reaver's Fall" and gain "Disrupt Their Reinforcements". Head east to 70,45 and 74,38 to complete the quest at the portals and return for the follow up quests "Mission: Gateways Murketh and Shaadrez" and Mission: The Abyssal Shelf". Both of these are insanely fun bombing quests. Once done, take a flight to Spinebreaker Post.
In Spinebreaker finish "Apothecary Zelana" and pick up "Make them Listen", "Preparing the Salve", "Boiling Blood", "The Warp Rifts" and "Wanted: Worg Master Kruush".
Head west out of Spinbreaker to find the MOBs for "Make Them Listen", fight them until you complete the quest and they drop the Mysterious Tome, which starts "Decipher the Tome". Turn in both quests and get "The Battle Horn", the MOB for this can be found around 54,83. Continue this chained with "Bloody Vengeance" at 63,77 and "Honor the Fallen" at 56,77.
Head to the Zeppelin Crash site near 50,75 to pick up the "In Case of Emergency", "Void Walkers Gone Wild" and "Ravager Egg Roundup". Head south west to 49,81 to finish "The Warp Rifts" and "Voidwalkers Gone Wild", and collect the eggs near 36,90. Turn those in and get "Hellboar, the Other White Meat" and "Void Ridge". Kill any of the boars around. When done turn it in to get "Smooth as Butter" which you can complete east of there at 62,66. While there finish "In Case of Emergency" and "Preparing the Slave". Turn all these in at the Zeppelin and Spinebreaker and head to Zeth'Gor near 66,72.
While getting there kill any orcs you see for "Boiling Blood", which can be finished at the cauldron there. You can also find Kruush to complete "Wanted: Worg Master Kruush".
Finish "Void Ridge" near 75,70 and then head back to turn it in and get "From the Abyss". You can finish that at the crystals located neat 80,79.
Return to Thrallmar, turning in all quests on the way and getting "Falcon Watch", "The Assassin", "Forge Camp: Mageddon", Cannons of Rage", Doorway to the Abyss", and "Burden of Souls" while there.
Head to "Forge Camp: Mageddon" at 64,32 to finish it and move onto "Cannons of Rage" at 58,30 and then "Doorway to the Abyss" at 53,27. From there if you can find a group for "Cruel's Intentions" great, if not just skip it until later.
Head south west of Thrallmar, where you can find the goblins for "Burden of Souls" along the wall by Hellfire Citadel, then keep going to 33,43 to find "The Assassin". Keep going west and then south to Falcon Watch, turn in the quest of the same name.
While there pick up "The Great Fissure", "Magic of the Arrakoa", "Birds of a Feather", "Report to Zurai", "Helping the Cenarion Post""In Need of Fellblood", "Trueflight Arrows", "Arelion's Journal", and "Source of the Corruption". Make sure you learn the next level of First Aid while here and grab the flight point.
Fly back to Thrallmar, turn in "Burden of Souls" and "The Assassin" and talk to the people to gain "A Strange Weapon" and then "The Warchief's Mandate". Head west to the Pools of Agonnar and complete "In Need of Felblood", "Arelion's Journal" and "The Agony and the Darkness" (assuming you got it from the item drop that stared "Vile Plans").
Head west to the assassins body again, and start "A Spirit Guide". This leads to "The Mag'har" Head back to Falcon Watch, stopping on the way to finish "The Great Fissure" near 34, 60 and "Trueflight Arrows" near 26,47. Then turn in all quests at Falcon Watch and pick up "The Cleansing Must be Stopped", "Marking the Path", and "Arelion's Secret".
Take a quick flight back to Thrallmar to turn in "The Mag'har" and get the next part, "Messenger to Thrall". Save this quest for a while, until you have a reason to head back to Ogrimmar. Head west and finish "The Cleansing Must be Stopped" along the way in the Pools of Agonnar, and then head down the road to Falcon Watch until you find Magister Aledis (who follows the road on a Blood Elf mount), complete "Arelion's Secret" and get "The Mistress Revealed". To do the next part of this quest you must head west into Zangarmarsh and purchase a bottle of Cenarion Spirits form the innkeeper in Cenarion Refuge. Next run north in Zangarmash to Swamprat Post (since your almost there already) and get the flight point. Fly back to Falcon Watch.
While in Falcon Watch finish off "Arelion's Mistress" with the spirits bought from Zangarmarsh.
Head east of Falcon Watch to finish "Marking the Path" (located at 29,60; 36,66; and 29,60), then head south-east of Falcon Watch to finish "Maric of the Arrakoa" and "Birds of a Feather" in the Den of Haal'esh. Once done, return to town and turn them in.
By this point you will have progressed far enough and gained enough new equipment to handle the first instance in the Outlands if you want to. You should start up the LFG (Looking For Group) tool and set it for The Hellfire Ramparts. If you get a group for this instance you can look forward to some very good gear for the level and at least 1/4 of a level of experience.
If you choose to venture into the instance you can find a guide covering all the strategies and tactics needed right here: TenTonHammer's Guide to the Hellfire Ramparts.
You are now pretty much done in Falcon Watch and should head west to Cenarion Post, which is found just south of the road heading into Zangarmarsh at 15,52. Turn in "Helping the Cenarion Post" and get "Colossal Menace", "Keep Thornfang Hill Clear!", and "Demonic Contamination". You can find the boars to complete the contamination quest all around the area. Once done, turn it in and get and complete "Testing the Antidote".
Next head into the Ruins of Sha'naar to compete "Source of the Corruption", and to talk to the quest giver "Naladu" at 15,58, and you can complete it at 16,65. Continue with this chain with "A Traitor Among Us" (14,63), "The Dreghood Elders" (15,59; 13,60; and 13,58), and then "Arzeth's Demise".
Head north into the pass to finish "Keep Thornfang Hill Clear!", then turn everything back in at Cenarion Post, and then Falcon Watch.
By this time you should be level 61 and ready to move on to Zangarmarsh. Fly to Swamprat Post to continue your adventures.

Grinding Satyrs in Azshara, Levels 51-54

An awesome place to grind out levels 51-54 is in central Azshara (Wowhead | WowWiki) near the Legashi Compound (61,23). Here there are a large group of satyr that go down easy and respawn quickly. And best of all, they also drop Felcloth, so you stand to make quite a bit of extra gold grinding here. If you are a tailor this is a must-grind spot.

You will be fighting Legashi Satyr, Legashi Hellcallers and Legashi Rogues. As I mentioned, they’re all pretty easy. This is not a good area for more than two players to grind simultaneously due to the (not large) number of mobs, but they have a fair respawn time so two players should have minimal downtime. I recommend soloing this area.

WoW Shadowmoon NPC Helps You Grind Out 64-67

This is a hot grinding spot for Levels 64-67 in Shadowmoon Valley (Wowhead | WowWiki). Like all my favorite grinding spots, this involves grinding yellow mobs. But here we have a twist that I’m sure you will find much to your liking, as it will speed up your grind immensely.

This grind will be occurring at the far north end of Shadowmoon Valley at Oronok’s Farm (54,26). This is near the neutral quest-giver and vendor Oronok Torn-Heart. You will be grinding Domesticated Felboars, which range from levels 65-66. There are plenty around here and they respawn extremely fast. They drop the usual vendor trash items like Gnarled Boar Tusks and Bloody Snouts which sell for good gold when accumulated over time.

So this is a good grind spot, but what makes it so special? Instead of doing a normal grind, aggro around seven of the Domesticated Hellboars and then pull them back over to Oronok so that you are fighting them right next to him. He will now heal you when your health gets low, preventing you from dieing. This means you can fight a lot more of these at once than normal, meaning your xp, gold or whatever rate will go through the roof. And to top it all off he can repair your equipment and sell you food and water.

This is a great way to level your character that proves grinding in the Burning Crusade isn’t dead. To find out more ways to level all my 300 alts, I read the Elite WoW 1-70 Guide. It has complete leveling guides for both Horde and Alliance, as well as guides on choosing talents and making gold. It’s awesome!

Cartographer - The Ultimate Questing Addon

If you are sick and tired of trying to keep track of all the thousands of quests you need to run to reach level 70, then I have an awesome bit of information for you: you can use the WoW addon Cartographer to increase your leveling speed by a huge factor! This has to be one of the best kept “open” secrets in all of World of Warcraft.

WoWScrnShot_062707_063232

Cartographer is a tool that allows you to display information about WoW directly to your in-game map and minimap. Addons like this are famously used to track profession nodes such as ore veins. Cartographer allows addon developers to create plugins to feed it whatever information they please, and because of this two projects were born that we are now interested in: Cartographer Quests and Cartographer QuestObjectives.

You can download the newest versions of all three files (Cartographer, Cartographer Quests and Cartographer QuestObjectives) at the official WowAce site.

Both Quests and QuestObjectives record the locations of quest givers and the locations quests are completed in a database (lua) file on your computer. They then display this information on your map in-game, so you can see how having this information right in front of you will speed up your questing (and hence your leveling) QUICK. And the best thing? They are both 100% legal - you will not get in trouble with the GMs for using these.

Of course, starting from scratch with these won’t really speed up your leveling right away. You’ll only have a blank slate. This is why I’m offering both of my personal database files below.

These have almost all the quests for both Alliance and Horde, from the starting areas all the way to the Outlands. To install these files simply unzip the contents into the following directory, overwriting the default (empty) files:

  • World of WarcraftWTFAccountACCOUNT-NAMESavedVariables

Note that ACCOUNT-NAME is the name of your account. Now when you log in, you should see icons for all the quest-givers and the locations of where to complete your current quests already on your map and minimap!

Of course, knowing where to get quests and then where to complete them is really only half the battle. To really level fast, you have to know which order to complete the quests in to minimize your travel-time in the game. That’s why I find guides like the Elite WoW 1-70 Guide invaluable. Aside from giving many pointers about how to more effectively level, they also tell you which order to do the quests in.

WoW Lethals Pocket Guide to Efficient Leveling

This guide was formed to help people understand that leveling is a form of experience. I am making this to distribute my experiences with all of you. Leveling can be completed efficiently, and hassle free if you know what you are doing. So sit back grab a cold one and get pleasure from my guide. Any questions or comments email me at:

==================
[1] The Basics

Leveling a new race or a faction you doesn’t have experience
with can be a little tricky; but all of them have one obsession in common:
Quests, yes Quests not Monsters. The time it take to level depends on how well and how quick you finish the Quests. Here are several tips if you just started out; the are Alliance and Horde compat:

1. constantly start with the beginning quests since they are probably chain quests that yield armour/weapons that can assist you out.

2. Next, get nearby quests that lead to the same area or near it, it’s normally not a good plan to run back and forth until you complete quests that stop in the same area anyway.

3. If you get really faraway away from the starting area or inn near the area, just hearth back. Don’t do this if you recognize you are going back just march back; especially if the quests are along the way to turn in.

4. If you bag gets full of rubbish items and you can’t get quest stuff because of that, just garbage the junk items; remember you want to level, you can make money at level 60.

5. Don’t group into parties or raids unless it is an instances that
require it (or an outside boss like Hogger and such) because it
decrease your XP rate per-hour.

6. If you want help; ask for it on General Chat only, probability are some-one else is probably doing that quest to or some are helping at low-levels.

7. Don’t attach around; PvP Raids, Battlegrounds, Auction House. Unless, your quest or stuff like that insist it then do so.

8. Don’t work on professions, it drain your money, time for leveling; so except you want to have 3-10 hours added to your leveling time go ahead and do so. There are no necessary quests that demand a profession, there are only elective ones.

9. Don’t Idle, if you desire to go AFK log-out to the character select screen, so you save time when you /played in chat.

10. Lastly for the Basics, Don’t do quests that need you to go to another area faraway until you’ve completed all the quests in the surrounding area, that way it saves time and the aggravation to you.
==================
[2] Advanced Techniques

There are techniques out there that the pro don’t want you
to know; I say screw them, this is an MMO not a FPS game. Heres some higher techniques that will blow your socks off, some are just so easy yet have a drastic effect.

1. Ask your guild to help; its simple, you aggro, strike them once or more, they AoE; if they are a priest have them cure you. This works best with a huge amount of greens or yellow mobs. Elite’s work to, just tenor it down a bit or you may die.

2. Your Class/Race combo will depend on how quick you level, that’s right! If you choose a race that’s destined for magic, but pair it with melee, you will find yourself have a harder time than those who choose a Race that’s meant for Melee. Check my guide at this URL for pairing:
wow leveling guide

3. Does your gear really issue in leveling? Well check out the Myths part of this guide to discover out if that’s true or not.

4. Leveling quick means being on a lot; have a friend you really belief that plays the game play when you’re not online. I have a person on Xfire who lives in the UK who’s playing on my account when I’m offline because of our time-zone difference; it’s night over there when its day here. * I am not in charge if you get your account stolen, neither am
wow leveling help nor wow leveling help 2*

5. Does Horde or Alliance level quicker? Well, simply put; go to the myths section to find out the respond to this age-old question.
==================
[3] Myths Exposed

Here I exposed Myths that are either misunderstand game-
facts or just simply stupid. I am here to broken them with my Hammer of Justice (not the Flying Dildo of Wrath). Its either Busted, or Real; theres no Plausible like MythBusters (I think they should host a WoW leveling version of it though).

1. Does Horde or Alliance level faster?
Simply put; neither, they are precisely the same. WTF? , You say? Well, Alliance quests and Mobs are so close together (and bearing in mind that most Alliance is nubs) people think they are accomplish the quests faster. That’s false and I’ll tell you why, when things are closer together you sense more relaxed and easy-going which to the human being brain means time seems to be passing by faster. Well, when it comes to Horde quests, omfg, they are all stretch out and you start to panic a bit,
about if you are going to finish the quest by you log off or if you level up before you do so. This release a chemical by the name of: neurogenesis, which lead to stress, this makes you feel as though its taking without end to get something done (as I’m feeling writing this), but its exactly the same time play as both; people say this because they are either new to the section or are not efficient at leveling that race.
With, that said; I hear by announce this Myth; BUSTED!

2. Does gear matter when leveling?
Well, after playing a level 60 in each class, except for Paladin; I have to declare maybe. Why? because it depends on your class; if you want to level fast as a melee player you must have honest to OK gear to do so. Theres a level of lenience with gear; You can’t be a level 60 using level 12 gear
because it just won’t work * remarkable how you go to 60 *, but if you a 60 using 40-50 gear that wholly expectable to get there. I remember I was a level 40 using level 30 gear since I was getting my mount, or I required to level fast so I could raid with my guild, and was a level 56 using a level 45 sword and level 35-48 gear. It all depends on how quick you want to level. Because of that; this is a guide to leveling express so;
this Myth is; BUSTED!

Have any more Myths or such that you want busted? email it
to me at : wow_wow_guides@yahoo.com (please no spamming, thanks )

[4] Hints

Here are some hints for you to get maximum presentation out
of your computer and our leveling experience, have fun and post things that you want added or email me at : wow_wow_guides@yahoo.com

1. Install Addons that are detailed to the class you want to level, this makes it easier for you to have a handle grip over your classes full potential, while save you the time of configuring your Addons with a basic Addon.

2. For best frame-rates turn down Anti-Aliasing or twist down Texture details; do not twist down World Detail because that decreases how extreme you can see; in extreme cases set the game to Window Mode through the Video Options.

3. Set your ability specs for PvE, publicly called Grinding. This will help you professionally cut through any mobs in your way. Go to this URL:
wow leveling pve Select your class and have fun

4. For anything class/race linked go to my Class/Race pairing guide at:

WoW Guide for Feral & Balance leveling v.2.0 |

Guide for Feral and Balance Leveling (& pvp), post-2.0.1
originally, v.1.12 was posted by Jaegor, 60 Feral Druid, Dark Iron, Panda Attack
Updated and maintained post-1.12 by Lissanna, 60 druid, Cenarion Circle, Ergo Bibamus

Feral and Balance Leveling (& Low-Level PvP)

Intro:
This guide is for new druids initial out. It is specifically geared towards build construction for both PvE and PvP needs. This guide underwent main changes, and I will continue updating it as things change. Keep in brain that this is not a guide for healing or end-game. Also, these are my suggestion. There are other ways to do it, but if you are new to the game, this should be a helpful guide to figure out how tricky leveling a druid can be.

The first thing to know is that feral is the most efficient tree for grinding. Mana-less damage means fewer downtimes for drinking or healing, which means more time for exp. I have, however, built-in a Balance leveling guide along with feral, since Balance is much more feasible than it used to be. Keep in mind that low-level balance druids will likely still use time in Bear form when they run low on mana (or, mele’ing in moonkin form). Restoration is not a good leveling build, so give up from specing full resto until you are at the level cap.

Sections:
1. Feral Leveling Spec
2. Balance Leveling Spec
3. Low level PvP Battleground advice
4. Q&A (where to level & more!)
5. Appendix (other advice from poster suggestions)
6. Equipping for PvP/PvE (important stats)
7. Low Level gear for Feral (Str) & Balance (+dmg)

________________________________________

1) Feral tree v.2.0.1:
So you just hit level 10 and got your bear form and primary talent point. Congratulations! But where to put that first talent point for maximum benefit?

Level 10-14 = 5/5 Ferocity (-5 rage/energy for Maul/Swipe/Claw/Rake)
By lower the cost for your primary attack, you increase your DPS by a significant amount.

Lvl 15-16 = 2/2 Brutal Impact (+1s stun for Bash and Pounce)
You will now contain a 3s stun, instead of the normal 2s. This is supposed to be enough to allow you to get an emergency Bash-> Regrowth or Root off, or save that silly clothies life by stunning the mob for an extra second. This becomes markedly better with higher ranks of Bash. At higher levels, this may get replaced with thick hide; however at lower levels I find this to be a good talent investment.

Lvl 17-19 = 3/3 Feral Instinct (+stealth in catform and +15% threat generation in bear form)
But I dont even have catform yet!?! But you will, and you will spend a lot of time in it. The first rule for rogues and kitties is not to be seen. Night Elfs' Shadowmeld grants them a passive bonus to stealth, however this is still nice for them. Bears will also enjoy the threat generation bonus for tanking in instances.

20! Yay for catform!
Your next points will immediately go into:

Lvl 20-21 = 2/2 Feline Swiftness (+30% to run speed while outdoors or while prowling)
This is the reason you put your first 12 points into Feral. Increased run speed means decreased travel time, which indirectly leads to higher exp gain. It also allows you to outrun those you are chasing or being chased by, which is a nice bonus for pvp.

Lvl 22 = 1/1 Feral Charge (Charge an enemy 8-25 yds away, interrupting the spell they were casting and immobilizing them for 4s)
One of the best talents available to druids. This should be a keystone of any druid build as it allows many different options when paired with 5/5 Furor. You can engage an enemy from a distance, stop a runner/flag carrier, interrupt a spellcaster, or use it as an escape tool (target a mob/critter/player 8-25yds distant and charge).

Lvl 23-27 = 5/5 Furor from the resto tree (100% chance to generate 10 rage/40 energy when shifting)
Some people disagree with taking this talent early in the game. For me, I feel that the rage is invaluable for bear form (see Feral Charge) and the extra energy makes building combo points with cat that much easier. Instant Claw/Rake or wait a tic for a shred. If you are not shifting very often, you may choose to skip this talent, but it really is an important talent for me when I level feral. This is a personal choice, but I highly recommend getting this talent.

At this point you are level 27 and 0/13/5.

Feral: Branching Out

Here is the first main division between builds for Ferals. If you are going for Mangle, you should continue putting points in Feral. If you are planning a more hybrid build, it would be advisable to spend the next 16 pts in Resto for Natures Swiftness, if you aren't planning to get mangle.

Some people even recommend skipping all the resto talents (including furor) until after you get Mangle. I'd recommend just respec'ing for mangle at 50 if you picked up points in other trees along the way.

Here are some level 70 specs you can work towards:

1/46/14 (Cat Spec)
wow leveling pvp/pve
Strict DPS build. Good for PvP/PvE leveling. Note that Nature's Grasp works in feral forms now, which is great for pvp. However, you can drop that point and put it somewhere else if you don't like Nature's grasp.

(0/47/14) Bear tanking spec
wow leveling shifter
If you aren't shifting a lot, intensity (to give you more rage) may be more helpful than natural shifter. Savage fury & Nature's Grasp aren't as useful for tanking, so primal tenacity will benefit you more.

0/35/25 (Feral/Resto Hybrid spec)
wow leveling feral
Natures Swiftness is key. This is also good for cat/healing hybrid for pve or pvp. Not recommended for leveling or tanking, due to how important mangle is for those two roles. Some of the point placements are optional. You can also drop points out of Gift of Nature or Nature's Grasp to spec more heavily in feral talents or Nature's Focus.

Rutenio's "all out dps" build

Q u o t e:
I seriously just went All out DPS on talents. I make up for the thick hide talent by focusing on stam a lot, and my dodge is also very high, so I dont get hit that much.

WoW Guide for Feral/Leveling/PvP Spec post-1

5) Appendix (Poster Suggestions).

There are always different perspectives, and no one correct way to do things. Here's some advice from forum posters:

Tangden: "Personally for PVE, I'd go straight down to grab Feral Faerie Fire before going to Furor.
Since I'm spending a lot of time in cat form when grinding levels, FFF will be really useful so I don't have to shift to put faerie fire on, and mobs die faster."
-----------------
Bovie: "Personally, I would put 11-14 points into (restoration) right after getting feline swiftness. OOC is a very good tool for healing, dps, and tanking alike - and the extra 10% damage will be welcome."
----------------------------
-Illiyana: "I know it's getting out of the "young" range, but this is definitely worth mentioning...
Once you hit level 30, hop right on over the the AH and pick up the Green Whelp Armor chestpiece. There is *nothing* that works better for soloing/tanking for a good number of levels to come. For those of you unfarmiliar with this armor, every time a melee mob hits you (normal and special attacks), there is a 5% chance that the mob will fall asleep for 30 seconds. Just make sure if you've picked up multiple mobs, get rid of your thorns (as they tend to break the sleep affect instantly)."
----------------------------
Nekrosynergy -"So, you're a bear, and your leveling pattern will not vary from this;
Heal / Heal over time on yourself, Shift to bear Bear, attempt to kill mobs, Shift out of bear, repeat.

The only variation to this is pulling or opening with a starfire / wrath / enrage, but i didn't mention these because once again, that's down to individual playing style. Personally, i think if you're entering combat without a HoT on yourself and opening with starfire (wrath, pre-20's) > moonfire > bear, you are doing it wrong. You should be maximizing your damage not just your bear damage, you have ranged abilities so USE them. Save enrage for when you have to fight several mobs and you've got a couple of seconds before they arrive to attack range. The extra rage gained from it can make or break your game.

Lastly.. because this is how most bear users will be levelling, i chose furor, naturalist and omen of clarity as my 10-20 talents. "
--------------------------------------
Sond:
"1. As a young feral druid you must keep the cower skill in your toolbar for when you are in groups, especially if you invest any points feral instinct. Coming from experience of off DPSing in cat form pre-1.8 to now, I've had to rediscover cower the hard way. Learn to use your cower, a well timed cower can be the difference between life and death (in groups).

2. Gear well! For casting/healing for instances grab all the eagle/owl gear you can but also make a nice set of bear/tiger/monkey for your feral rampage. "

Q: Where do I go to level?
A: Here is a handy leveling guide you guys should take a look at if you ever get stuck wondering where you should be leveling at any point in time. I don’t have enough skill to be able to tell you specifically what mobs to kill. Questing is usually better for druids than straight grinding.
http://wowvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=66
Things to note: Being indoors is bad for druids, so avoid needless grinding in caves. Since we don’t have a good AOE ability, I try to pick off solo mobs rather than taking on 2 or 3 at the same time.

Questing is also important, and you can see the default zone levels here, to get an idea of where to quest:

Q: Why not put your first five points in Imp MotW?

A: Because despite the 1.35xMotW is a minimal gain at that level for the points invested. For MOTW Rank 2, getting +23 AC, and +1 stats is simply not worth 5 talent points compared to the other options available. The only time this is worth the 5 talent points is if you are a) DEEP in the resto tree, b) heavily involved in PvE raiding. In PvP the buff will get purged/cleansed or your target will die. For druids that are primarily feral/pvp, 5/5 Furor will be much more valuable for its effectiveness with cat/bear.

Q: What about 1 point in Improved Shred???

A:
Essentially, the energy returns over time start to equalize. However, the initial attack sequence of Shred>Shred has no benefit from 1/2 Imp Shred. If you were to substitute Claw (40 energy) for Rake, it would look even worse for 1/2 Imp Shred because the cost for an additional attack after the Claw would require the same number of ticks for energy as unimproved shred. Basically Improved Shred is one of those talents that needs to have 2/2 to have an effect.

Q: Why not spec x/x/x instead?

A: The guides posted above are merely guides to give you an idea of what I consider good specs and have had success with on the Beta server, but the best spec will always be the one that fits YOUR playing style the best. Feel free to adapt them as needed.

Q: What about Talent:X?
A: Feel free to post questions about why x over y. I will try to respond, and if there are enough questions, I will include a review on more of those talents in this thread. Keep in mind that this guide is geared for a balance between PvE/PvP, and the order I chose talents reflects that.

Q: Why didnt you post your build?

A: Jaegor started this guide before he was level 60. His final spec is no longer relevant after the talent changes. However, My main (lissanna) is primarily a balance/resto druid. However, I leveled a feral druid up to 48 following this guide (more or less), so I have varified the accuracy of the original talent specs on the live server. Also, I tested every single possible build on the Burning Crusade Beta server, as a beta tester, since early development in August. I have figured out what works well for me, and what doesn’t.

Q: OMG! N00B!
A: Very succinctly put. However, I’ve been posting on the boards for quite sometime now, reading informative threads, and I’ve put in countless hours testing the new talents on the BC Beta server. I believe Jaegor's guide is the most efficient there was for the 1.8 talents, and I am doing my best to keep his original ideas, and build on them, rather than starting from scratch. I hope that he is proud of what I have done for this thread. I also happen to think it is a lot of fun. Feel free to disagree with anything we've written.

Q: Sir, you are both a gentleman and a scholar! How can I help inform others?

A: Post responses, or link this post to those with questions. (While Jaegor was a guy, I happen to be female).

Q: What kind of cake do you like?
A: Jaegor likes chocolate with vanilla icing.
Lissanna likes chocolate with Cream Cheese frosting

3) Low level BGs

This is mostly feral advice, as most PvP "twinks" will probably be feral. Feral makes a good flag runner for WSG, especially with the speed increase.

10-19 WSG
You can play! Have fun! Just remember that you are still primarily a caster. You dont have cat form, and your bear damage isn't very good. I suggest tossing heals liberally, followed by roots, hibernating druids/hunter pets, and tapping people (ONCE!) with Moonfire. You can use Fairy Fire on rogues and warriors. Remember to hold enough mana to shift bear form, since this is your primary form of defense against mele classes.

Moonfire spam: DONT!*
*unless it will leave the target dead and allow your team an advantage. (eg. Spamming the turtling flag carrier down in WSG to allow your team to cap the flag.)

20-29 WSG
For this bracket, the 10-19 advice still applies, but remember you have increased survivability at this level with bear, as well as additional DPS in cat form, if you are feral. Try to use your forms to their advantages. Don’t stay in one forever. Utilize cat speed for mobility, as the only ones on the battlefield that are faster than you, with Feline swiftness, are Shamans in ghost wolf form. You have Feral charge to close the distance. Watch your mana pool because it isnt the greatest. Always leave enough to shift for escapes.

Jaegor found that it was best for him to stay hidden as long as possible in cat while the battle develops, then shred some backside or tossing some heals/roots. For alliance, you will likely be the primary flag runner, or you will be support for the flag runner with heals.

20-29 AB
Arathi Basin is becoming more available for low-levels now that cross-server BG's have been released.
Druids with cat form can stealth at a base and use ravage or shift & cast moonfire to interrupt your opponent and prevent them from being able to get your flag. You can use your heals to keep your team members alive. You can use cat form for high DPS as feral, or use wrath and moonfire to your advantage as balance. You can stealth to resource nodes that your opponents control to sneak-attack their flag.

30-39 WSG
Travel form makes you the best flag runner in this level bracket. You can shift out of snares, dash in cat form when you are indoors, and travel form to run away at high speeds once you are in the "great outdoors." I tend to stay in bear form when I'm in the base if I don't intend to burn my dash, to help mitigate mele damage.

Copied Turog's post from page 2 about level 40-49 pvp. (thanks!)
_____________
Q u o t e:
40-49 PVP
I stacked agility more than strength since I kitty form dps a lot. For me I go bear when I want to survive, I go cat when i want to dps, and I go caster when I want to support. (Bear's Key abilites - bash, charge, enrage, frenzied regen).

Wsg:
Dire Bear form becomes a huge help. Cast Regrowth, Rejuv, Barkskin - shift into bear. Garunteed to survive against 8 people long enough to take the flag out from base to tunnel entrance. (Frenzied regen helps here too :D)
When fighting mages who are flag carrying, go bear and bash (DO NOT Feral Charge!) and if/ as soon as they blink out of that, Feral charge them. This should help your team catch up much more quickly than feral charging off the bat, and having to shift out of bear and into cat/travel to catch up.
Cat's track humanoids skill becomes invaluable here. If you are in base on D, you can track humanoid to see where they are coming from, you can stealth to their base and look for their flag carrier with track on. And! if you pick up flag, you can shift to cat, hit dash and track - is there a big group of red dots by their graveyard? Yep, they just respawned, better think of what to do. (For me, I prefer to sit in the base stealthed, wait until they respawn, and when most of them leave from GY, I grab and go along the wall. By them time i get to them, they should have been engaged in battle, and mostly dead.)

AB:
Cat form's new skill (trainable) feline grace becomes handy when assaulting , or defending bs from mill or mines from bs. Just go to cat form, try and jump so you can kinda slide along the wall, and run to bs or hit prowl immediantly as soon as you land. (note, at 49 - falling from bs to mine can be from about 600-800 damage if done right, and from mill's flag to the road below will be about 900-1200 if done right)
Otherwise- ninjaing nodes stays the same. Except this time you have track humanoid in cat form. I cannot stress how important this is. I always do the exact same sequence - mouse button 5 - 5 - -. shift - stealth - track humanoids. Helps tremendously when evaluating nodes, and checking to see if people waiting to respawn have.

2) Balance Leveling v.2.0.1
Okay, so now that the new talents are out, Balance looks like it is finally a viable leveling build, especially at higher levels (40+). Keep in mind that you should shift to bear form and dps when you are low on mana to reduce downtime, until you get Moonkin form and can mele in moonkin for the mana proc. At very low levels, you may not have a lot of mana, so remember that you don't lose your other forms just because you have points in this tree. Keep plenty of water and drink as needed. Keep in mind that your gear matters a lot as a caster (so read parts of section 6 & 7 that apply to balance).

Balance Tree (so you wanna be a Moonkin):

Level 10-14 = 5/5 Starlight Wrath (reduces the casting time of wrath and starfire)
This is an important talent. Faster casting time means you can do more damage in a shorter amount of time.

Level 15 = 1/1 Nature's Grasp
A buff that has a 35% chance to cast roots when someone hits you. This increases your survivability by having an instant-cast roots (on a cooldown timer). This is a great talent for PvP servers, but I recommend not maxing it out all the way, especially at very low levels.

Lvl 16-17 = 2/2 Improved moonfire (increases damage and crit chance of moonfire by 10%)
This is a good talent investment for increasing your overall damage. Remember not to spam moonfire. You want to let the dot tick. Wrath should still be your primary “nuke” until you get starfire. They reduced the number of talent points this cost, so it is an excellent investment now.

Lvl 18-19 2/2 Focused Starlight (increases crit strike chance of wrath and starfire by 4%)
More crits means more damage, and you need this talent to unlock Vengeance in a couple levels.

This leaves you as 10/0/0 for the 10-19 WSG.

Lvl 20 = 1/1 Insect Swarm (Does damage over 12 sec)
Having another damage spell (which also decreases your attacker’s chance to hit you) is always a good thing. At this level, you also pick up starfire. So, you now have more tools to help you defeat your opponent.

Lvl 21-22 = 2/2 Nature’s Reach (increases range of your balance spells)
Being able to attack from further away is always good, and this is really your best option for point placement at this point, since Brambles isn’t very helpful, especially at low levels.

Lvl 23-24 = 2/3 Control of Nature (reduces the chance of your roots spell to be interrupted by 70%)
If you root opponents a lot, it is good to invest in the talent that will keep it from being interrupted. You could also put 2 more points in Nature's Grasp if you prefer. I wouldn't recommend taking Brambles at lower levels, however it may be a good investment for higher levels. These two points are a matter of choice.

Lvl 25-29 = 5/5 Vengeance (increases crit strike damage)
This increases your critical strike damage. Normal crits do 50% more damage, so you increase your crit damage to doing twice your normal damage. With all the talents to increase your crit chance lower in the tree, this becomes even better.

Lvl 30 = 1/1 Nature’s Grace (reduces your casting time after a crit)
With all your crits doing big damage, your next spell will cast faster, further increasing your overall damage output. This is a really great talent to have. This also means that as you get higher level, you should look for +spell crit on your gear.

Lvl 31-33 = 3/3 Moonglow (reduces the mana cost of 6 spells)
Since balance druids are known for going Out Of Mana, reducing your mana costs means you can cast more spells before you need to drink. This effects your main damage and heal spells, making this a great well-rounded talent.

Lvl 34-36 = 3/3 Lunar Guidance (increases your +damage/heal by your int)
Intellect should be your main stat at this point, so you will get 25% of your intellect as +spell damage & healing. This is a great talent at high levels, for sure, so you may as well take it now.

Lvl 37-39 = 3/5 Moonfury (increases the damage of starfire, moonfire, and wrath)
This increases the damage done by your 3 main damage spells. It scales with +damage from gear (finally). Three talent points here gives you enough points to unlock…

Lvl40 = Moonkin form
Here’s the big feathery form you have been waiting for. Here’s what your build would look like at this point.
wow leveling moonkin

Lvl 41-42 = 2/2 Balance of Power (increases your chance to hit with spells by 4%)
Increasing your +hit at this point would be a good idea. It decreases the number of spell resists you will have, and actually increases the probability of roots lasting longer. It also decreases the chance that you will be hit with spells.

Lvl 43-44 5/5 Moonfury
Don’t forget to go back and finish maxing out moonfury for 2 more points.

Lvl 45- 47 3/3 Dreamstate (Regen 10% of your intellect)
You are OOM no longer, with mana regen based on your intellect. If you have 300 intellect, it would give you back 30 mana every 5 seconds.
___________________________________

Branching out:

This is the divergence point for Balance druids. At this point, you can either go into restoration to pick up intensity, or keep investing points in Balance to get treants. However, my personal recommendation is to pick up treants first.

Here are what my favorite final build would look like at level 70 to work towards:

48/0/13 (max damage and mana regen)
wow leveling max
This is similar to the the build I used to level up from 60-70. It's more pve than pvp oriented.

48/0/13 (pvp oriented)
wow leveling pvp
Similar to the above build, but more pvp oriented. Notice that both these builds have intensity, which is a great tool when combined with the balance tree for helping you be a BOOMkin and not an OOMkin.

34/0/27 (healer dps hybrid)
wow leveling healer
This is my current post-70 build. I use it for healing in raid instances, 5-mans, and for dps in both instances and solo. I haven't tried it in pvp. I'd recommend a more damage-focused build for pvp. This is a great alternative build for people who are required to heal, but still want to be dps viable.

44/0/17 (Stian's Raid DPS build) - subtlety will now reduce the threat generated by healing AND damage spells, making this an important talent for raiding moonkin druids. As Stian is an authority on end-game moonkin dps, I will let the expert's spec speak for its' self.

WoW Proper Leveling-Specced Rogue

Guide to Rogue-ing Successfully

So you think you can be a rogue?
The initial thing to know about a rogue is why they exist. The most key reason is crowd control, and of course, DPS. Rogues can dole out some massive DPS, especially with new rogue talents brought concerning by the expansion such as Mutilate. At MMOEdge, we will be speccing Mutilate (currently 41/0/10) when we reach 60 because of its grinding/PvE utility and potential for damage, and its more recently exposed ability to dominate in PvP. We can't tell you accurately what or how to build your rogue, but we can inform you of certain builds and their proficiencies, as well as how to play a rogue.

Basics
First, we'll cover the fundamentals of being a rogue even before even discussing race choices so you will know whether you truly want to be a rogue or not. Being a rogue, your most precious tool is and always will be stealth. Not Sinister Strike, not Backstab, and surely not Expose Armor (expose armor is not actually a candidate for most valuable, it is an example of the most horrible of a rogue's skills). The simple truth of being invisible is that, as long as you're invisible, you are fundamentally invincible. You can still take AoE damage and any damage including DoTs but if no one has seen you yet, they cannot harm you (with the exception of AoE which will affect you if you are within the range of the character that conjures it). Hunters will only place a trap after they have seen you (this excludes a hunter who has located a freezing trap anywhere near a flag or base to protect it). The second most valuable tool a rogue can use is his/her stuns. A stun, by definition, is to deprive of awareness or strength by or as if by a blow, fall, etc. This means that a stun will knock your opponent 'unconscious' for a short period of time. several stuns last longer than others. To wit, Gouge lasts 4 sec and 5.5 sec with the Improved Gouge talent; whereas Sap lasts 10 sec on players and 30+ sec on NPCs. Similarly, stuns work differently too. For model, cheap shot and kidney shot can stun a player and still allow that player to take damage, but when a player is stunned with gouge, blind, or sap, any damage applied to that aim will break the stun. Using stuns and stealth, a rogue is a strong assassin on and off the battlefield.

Being a rogue is not all sneaking throughout the night stalking your prey. Rogues do die and not all of them die in the spectacular take-everyone-with-you way they might contain tried for. Rogues will also die more often if they are not careful, because rogues can wear just leather armor, which is just a small step up from cloth armor. Finally, rogues can be kited like most other characters so it is of the utmost to remain on your guard more than anyone else you may be facing.

Talent Builds
There are a a small number of talent builds out there for a rogue and all of them have their unique uses on the battlefield. The best for PvE is probably Combat; although, Mutilate has given away quite a bit of promise in this area. The Combat build is oriented to sustainable damage with small bursts in between (eviscerate). The Combat build is centered on Adrenaline Rush and looks something like 20/31/0. There is also the Preparation build which involve whole stun locks and insane burst damage. It is known as 21/8/22. And finally the Seal Fate build which also involve stun locking is 31/8/12. We suggest daggers for the burst damage specs and swords for the combat one. The Mutilate build is unique so far since of its high concentration of talent points in the assassination tree. It is known as 41/0/10. We suggest dual-wielding high-max-damage daggers for this build.

WoW Midgame Guide Mage Leveling

This is a guide to leveling as a mage. I'll feel on subjects such as: leveling methods, specs, and gear.

The class.
The mage is branch of the holy trinity of MMO-classes: warrior, priest, mage. The mage is the king of DPS (especially after 1.11) and crowdcontrol (CC) and has value as well (water/food/portals/buffs).

Leveling methods
As a mage you contain 50% more options to level, than other classes have. Either you choose, I highly suggest doing nothing but instance from 58-60 to gear up and get all your key quests done. Not responsibility, means missing out on a huge amount of XP.

The traditional ways are:

Grinding:
Not much to say on this. You kill mobs, they give XP, you lv l. If you don't have a comprehensive knowledge of where quests take you and which order is best, grinding is fast for leveling.
It can be pretty boring, but listening to music or being on Vent/TS helps a lot. Get a rhytm going and stay in it. Take break when you mana up to not go completely blind :)

The following is pretty good list of where to grind which mobs. It is however from a Horde viewpoint and you need to scroll down a bit to get to the guide :) If you read the whole bit, there are some suggestions for alternative, which work just as well..if not better.
wow leveling mage

And the following lists some nice alliance spots for grinding. Also are some suggestions on questing.
wow leveling alliancel

Questing:
If you know your way around the world, this is the greatest way to level up. This is also known as gresting to some. Decent horde guides are few and far between (there are some on this site), alliance have it a lot improved.

Horde - if you are horde, use Joana's guide. That will take you from 1-60 in 5 days /played. It's written from a hunter perspective, so my idea is staggering your progress in the guide by a lv l or two. Other than that, there are some (admittedly with hole in them) guides here in the strat section. An idea is to try and modify the subsequent Alliance guide.
wow leveling alliance guide
wow leveling vidoe are links to all the videos (thanks sQren)

Alliance - if you are Alliance, you got it made! The following guide will quickly and easily take you from 30-60. Reason it's 30, is because of the quests pre that are in and around the starter areas, so just level quickly to 30 and you are set.
wow leveling 30

AOE'ing:
This is where the mage can level differently. By using their Area of Effect spells, they can decimate scores of lower level enemies, thus gaining experience quickly.
The most comprehensive guide to AOE spots is from the official WOW forums
wow leveling forum

Doing it this way, takes some learning and it goes a lot smoother if you duo'ing, either with another AOE class or a healer. But you will level pretty quickly.

Talent Specs
For leveling I recommend Fire, then arcane or frost. For optimal leveling, you should respec at 58-60, when you start to raid. When you start to end-game raid, you should respec once again. I will also make a mage end-game guide, where I will touch upon these points.

Some people recommend ice for leveling, especially after 1.11, but I still prefer fire: damage from frost is dependent on crits and fire isn't so much. The base fireball has higher DPS than frost and with fire you have longer range.
Here is a small discussion of fire vs frost.
wow leveling fire v frost

This is the spec I suggest for leveling. This works very well when grinding, since you can DPS relatively well in melee with scorch or wand. Of course, it also works for gresting :) :
wow leveling grinding

Focus on improving your fireball up to lvl 40 (reduced cast time first, then stun. Rest is up to you), then put 7 points in arcane up to wands, then the rest in fire and finally the last points in arcane.

Method of pulling: Max range, then Pyroblast, Fireball, Fireball and then either fireblast/scorch/wand until dead (if you are lazy) or Frost Nova, get range, Fireballs until dead.

This is the spec I suggest for AOE'ing. It's based around frost and it's AOE abilities.
wow leveling aoe
Go up through through ice to improved Blizzard, then fill out arcane, then go ice until 60.

Method of AOE'ing: If the mobs are grouped, get max range, pop Ice Barrier and Blizzard them. You should be able to get 2 off. Then Frost Nova and Cone of Cold and Arcane Explosion until they die. If things get too hot, Ice Block, Frost Snap, Frost Nova, Ice Barrier, get range and repeat.

Gear
If you are grinding or gresting, you should go for +dam gear. Fireballs are on a 3.5 sec cast time, so get the full effect from the damage gear. Mana isn't really a concern since you have free drinks. Sip after every pull or every other pull, then you'll be fine.
If you are AOE'ing, you need a mix of INT and STAM if you don't have a healing buddy. You will mostly be casting instants or long channeled spells, so you will not get so much use out of damage.

When you start getting to 50+, this is a list of damage gear you should get:

WoW Alliance Leveling Guide

This guide pretty much kicks ass.I will show you were to grind and
quest from levels 1-40 and from 55-70.

Starting area (darnassus, elwynn, dun morogh, azuremyst isle)Do LOTS of questing in these areas, dont even grind at all. This should get you to level 10-12. The best starting place is dun morogh.

Advanced area (westfall, bloodmyst isle, darkshore) In these areas you should quest about 65-80% and grind the rest. This should get you to level 17-20. Bloodmyst isle is the best place of all these.

Duskwood and redridge mountains is the best place for levels 19-22. Here do about half grinding and half questing. Duskwood is the better place to get levels of these two places but they're both nice places. After you hit level 22 head over to stormwind and get some new weapons and armor, also pick up a one gathering profesion and one crafting profesion that are related to each other (examples: herbalism and alchemy, blacksmithing and mining, tailoring and enchanting, skinning and leatherworking)

Ashenvale and the wetlands are good places to get from 22-25. This is where grinding takes over. Grind a lot and quest as much as you can, as there aren't many quests in these places, they will get you a ton of experince though.

Hillsbrad foothills and deadwind pass are the only places to go to get to level 28. There aren't many quests here so you have to grind. While you're at these places remember to skin things and mine ore and collect herbs for your crafting profesion. Head to stormwind once you hit level 28 and get some twink shit 'cause you're gonna need it.

Stranglethorn vale is a dangerous place for a badly geared character so if you dont have good items go to arathi highlands. In STV grind on tigers and gorrilas or whatever you find. You will probably get ganked a few times but it doesnt do 10% damage to your items, just find your corpse and respawn. Arathi highlands is a little bit of quest but mostly grinding. You should get to levels 31 or 32.

Go to thousand needles now. Grind and quest here until you're level 34.

Dustwallow marsh is the place to now. Grind on whatever you find. If you like to piss the horde off go to the barrens and kill horde NPC's.You can get to level 40 easily here. Here is the end of the 1-40 guide and now is the 55-70 guide. Hope you enjoy it!

Eastern plaugelands and western plauglands are the place to go now. I think the EP is easier at a low level so go there first till youre level 57. Go to WP now till you're level 59. Quest a lot here and grind some to.

Winterspring is the place to go now. There is a major goblin town there so you can pick up quite a few quests there and just kill stuff there until you're half way to level 61. Now the outland guide comes into play. You will need the expansion for this.

Hellfire penninsula is where you go now. Quest until youre level 62.

Zangamarsh is where to quest now. Get to halfway between 63 and 64 and go to tekkor forest.

Tekkor forest is the place to ace. Quest and grind to level 66. Remeber, get ores, herbs, and hides so you can level up your professions.

Find some monsters to grind on that are easy to kill and get to level 68.

Shadowmoon valley is your final destination! Quest and grind till you are level 70. Get your flying mount now and do some end-game dungeons with some friends. I like the swift green gryphon the best.

TIPS

1.Make a level one alt that sits around stormwind or ironforge that handles all your auction house needs and sells your stuff.

2.If you can't afford stuff I recommend buying the World of Warcraft Cash Creating Guide. I can make 100-150 gold with this per hour easily at level 70.You can still make 50 gold an hour at level one with this guide.

3.You can solo this whole guide so don't get in a group unless there is a lot of people where you're going.
